Server Updates

Alright now that the craziness of adding and fixing and re-fixing and re-updating basic crafting is done, you may occasionally see moderate to major updates posted here in this thread, for updates to the server that are bigger than our always ongoing small tweaks.

Starting with:
*Most level 12 & under areas now have crafting resources available for harvesting. Updating more areas is ongoing.
*Most races & factions have updated stores that have appropriate crafting supplies. Militia was updated today for the next restage, along with some of their old/new npcs. (Note that 97% of the updates for Militia are in their 2nd tier store however). The last two stores to be done are the Crimson Crusade and GLADTOMU, and will be updated within the next week or so also.

-Changed the icons for the newer potions so that they're not all the same (the ones in your inventory won't change, but they should be correct from loot).
-Fixed the Healing Domain to properly give Mass Regeneration
Early in the morning in the middle of the night, two dead boys got up to fight. One was blind, the other couldn't see, so they chose the devil as the referee.
   Back to back, they faced each other; drew their swords, and shot each other. A deaf policeman heard the noise, and soon arrested the two dead boys.

-High Reaches Crafting Pavilion is now a free-rest zone! (Just like the Boozy Bear, resting there will no longer count against your 20-minute rest timer).

Greater Magic Weapon changed so that you may now cast it on offhand weapons (just cast it again on the same person, no need to switch hands)

Magic Vestment changed to 2 +1/five levels (Max +5) from 1 +1/five levels (max +4), If you cast it a second time on someone (or if they aren't wearing any armor including clothes) it will target their Shield instead, and grant +1 Shield AC /Five Caster Levels (Max +4)

Magic Weapon changed to be +1 AB instead of +1 EB (this will still bypass magic DR).

Bat, Cat, Rat, and Badger Leather can now be used to make Leather Pouches.

Corn and Rice Meal now give oil on a 1 to 1 basis, instead of 4 to 1

the druid/spirit shaman spell 'Flame Weapon' will now change damage type to reflect the deity which grants it.

Symbol Spells (Death, Fear, Pain, Sleep, Persuasion, and Weakness) have been added, appropriate classes can get them at appropriate levels, their scrolls have also been added to loot containers.

Sacred Fist Sacred Flames now follow elemental deity conventions (i.e. Fraeyal's will do cold and divine, while Senescia's will do Sonic and Divine).

All the new clothing, ALL OF IT.

Also, undead will no longer crash the server when going through transitions (even the ones that have always caused crashes for no apparent reason).

Undead will still look like the creature they're raised from, but due to issues they will no longer scale up or down to their original size, sorry.

There won't be anything noticeable that anyone can tell visually, however...
After next restage (that is restage, not reset!) weapons that are crafted by PCs will have the later ability to be enchanted when that system is in game. If you really like something you have already crafted, and want to be able to enchant it later, you can ask a DM for a swap for the same item (if they can find the item code to do so).

All areas have small updates for new resources/crafting recipes.
The main update however, is in ores and gems.
In very broad strokes you will have better chances of finding better mystery minerals in more dangerous areas.
Will you mine that silver somewhere safe, or risk it for xp and better gems?

As above with the weapons, as of the next restage all player crafted armour and shields will now have their invisible "you can enchant these later" slots on them, but only if they are crafted after this restage.

So many bug fixes I don't even know where to begin.

-Silver Arrowheads now require silver ingots instead of enchanted silver ingots.
-Essence of Magic now correctly requires silver
-Several Tailoring recipes have been fixed.
-Holy Trap Kit recipes have been fixes
-Our Custom Acid Flasks and Alchemists Fires now do the appropriate amounts of damage, and apply to weapons appropriately (acid flasks can also be applied to weapons for 4 rounds of acid damage), in addition they all have set splash damage instead of randomized.
-Several items which were missing descriptions now have them.
-Morwuyhiuhi Full Plate is now registering as Full plate instead of Half Plate, sorry for that hiccup folks.
-Magic Vestiment now functions as intended (casting it directly on a creature once will hit their armor, if you cast it on them a second time it hits their shield instead)
-Fixed a load screen typo that we've had since v1.
-Fixed the description of the obelisk in Hoars Bastion
-Bloodstone Prices have been fixed
-Fixed an invalid object in the loot script
-Fixed bullets and leather so they should auto-stack in inventory (if not please let me know)
-Removed jewelry recipes that no longer have outputs
-Valkshir are now live and available to choose as starting races.

-Quarterstaffs (staves) are now a 2d4 damage die, and various new versions have been added for crafting.
-Assassin now requires 2d6 sneak attack OR Improved Favored Enemy (any) OR Purity of Body as a prerequisite.
-Assassin's HiPS has been replaced with 'Assassin's Invsibility' a 5 round ability that functions as Greater Invisibility (the PnP version, not the NWN2 version) with a 1 minute cooldown.
